Yes, as long as you notify us of your plans at the moment of booking your reservation. Otherwise, last minute events will not be tolerated. La Caracola Inn is the perfect place to celebrate a birthday, bachelor(ette) party or any occasion. Our rooftop is very spacious and you can plan a great event without getting penalized.
No, our property is on a fourth floor walk-up building at the heart of the best nightlife in Old Santo Domingo. We do not recommend the space to families with underage children, light-sleeper guests, or physically-challenged individuals such as the elderly who might have issues with late-night noise and multiple flights of stairs.

The Old Santo Domingo area is a popular tourist destination that is considered very safe for travelers. This particular neighborhood is surveilled 24/7 by a special police department called POLITUR. However, all travelers are encouraged to take the necessary safety precautions that they would when traveling anywhere in the world.
With 2 double beds, 2 twin beds and 2 sofa beds, La Caracola Inn comfortably fits a total of 9 guests: 6 sleeping in our bedrooms and 3 guests sleeping in our living room area. Please let us know the size of your group in advance and we will try our best to accommodate you. For groups larger than 9, there is an extra fee.

Yes, we will do our best to accommodate you. Please let us know far in advance the time of your arrival and departure. We will plan around your flight schedule to ensure you make the most of your time at La Caracola Inn. If you arrive while our cleaning staff is still prepping the space, you can store your luggage and come back.
